Our Primary Purpose

  The primary purpose and mission of Alcoholics Anonymous members is to stay sober and help others achieve sobriety  


  “I am Responsible. When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that: I am responsible.”  

Lubbock AA Dist. IV provides the following useful information and services:

  • District 4  AA Meeting times & schedules
  • District 4 AA group contacts and phone numbers
  • AA hotline 806 778-1716, a 24 hour service to provide support and information 
  • Resource links for AA history, recovery tools and recorded speaker Big Book tools
  • AA literature depot located at 3808 34th Lubbock TX- provides lowest-cost literature to AA groups at cost
  • Outreach meetings for Corrections, prisons, and treatment centers
